CLC is also known as Foam Concrete, is a version of light weight concrete that is produced like normal concrete under ambient conditions. CLC Blocks are a cement-bonded material made by blending slurry of cement. Stable, pre-formed foam manufactured on site is injected into this slurry to form foam concrete. Fresh foam concrete looks like a milk- shake and the volume of slurry in the foam dictates the cast density of the foam concrete.

Benefits of using CLC Block

Unlike clay blocks, which downgrade with time, CLC blocks gain more strength over time.

Due to the consistency in shape and a large volume of size, CLC blocks save more than half the time in construction than traditional bricks

With CLC blocks, the requirement of plastering walls is reduced significantly. The use of mortar in building the walls is reduced by 50%.  The labor required to build CLC block wall is also less than the traditional walls. This results in a huge amount of cut down on the overall construction cost.

 CLC block is approx 3 times lighter than clay bricks which results in reduction of dead load, ultimately saving the foundation and structural cost of the building.
